Is the Prince Buster produced album Chi Chi Run (nominally by Big Youth) available on CD? I seem to remember there were a couple of Alton Ellis and Dennis Brown filler tracks on it that I'd quite like. I'm also looking for the Battle Of The Giants album featuring the version of Delroy Wilson's Dancing Mood with the Moog synthesizer accompaniment. I remember it having a green cover and Something's Bugging Me and No Man Is An Island were also on it.

Bloody shame that they arent they should be maybe if some clever person say at pressure sounds got it together and offerd the prince a good contract to release his material i would certainly be a starter and i know a hell of a lot of other Reggae anoraks who would to.

Chi Chi Run was rereleased by Prince Buster on vinyl early this milleniun, so it might be still available.

Battle of the giants came out on the long demised Melodisc label, and hasnt been re-issued since.

beware though, it's a bad master or stamper, the LP has more than skip in it.

Thanks guys. My main reason for wanting Battle Of The Giants is the mix of Dancing Mood with the ethereal synthesiser throughout. It must surely be on some other album, must it not? I might need to start another thread.

On Chi Chi Run, I wanted "One Day Soon" and "If I had the world" by Dennis Brown and "Since I fell for you" by Alton. I'm looking for the same early versions but, even if I found it they are cut short on the album for some reason. I'd really like the full tracks. I've listened to or bought many CDs over the years and always been disappointed to find other versions. Now that I've found some experts, I'm therefore appealing to you!
