Not sure about netflix, i saw it at the NZ International Film Festival.I wouldn't class it as a reggae movie as such, more like a movie set mostly in Jamaica with various musical encounters on Max's (main character)journey from Ochi to the US Embassy in Kingston ,with only the shorts he is wearing! Carl Bradshaw is absolutely brilliant as the psychedelic mystic man Max meets on his journey,i reckon' he steals the show!?
Also stars Norah Jones (briefly) & has cameo's by Michael Rose.

Very nice film, the first half is slow while they are in the USA but soon as they get to JA things really heat up.
It's the story of a guy who wins a cruise to the Caribbean, he gets off in JA but looses all his money, i thik he gets mugged and then misses the boat onto the next island, so he's stuck in JA and it's basically his story of what happens to him in Jamaica, he's a young american white guy with only a pair of shorts, t-shirt and trainers.

It's a great film, i got to meet many of the cast of the film back in Feb. in JA, one of my own fav characters was Juvie, but thats his real name i forget his film name, he is the young jamaican teen who pulls a knife on sam but they end up becomming friends.

Great performance by the Congos and Carl of course, don't miss it....

(i did hear that it was on netflix, i think they announced this on the official website but have no idea if it is up there yet).
