Jamaican "bands"

I have a little confussion of the differents backing bands of Jamaica.Roots radics and revolutionaries are the same or not? , can you name a few more? (most important)

It would be nice if this kind of info would be in the "Browse by - Backing Band" section, maybe just a brief paragraph and the name of the players of instruments, the forgotten heroes of reggae...

Anyway there are already several topics with this info scattered. And Roots Radics and Revolutionaries isn't the same.

I had heart that there are two backing bands , with different names, but they was also the same guys, which one is it?

A lot of backing bands were simply whoever was playing at the time for a particular producer. Most bands didn't have fixed line-ups beyond a few core members, so there was a lot of overlap between bands.

are listed as Soul Syndicate, but I have an idea of aggrovators with robbie on the bass, I dont know...
