I've been listening recently to some Prince Jazzbo, and I love that simple pure reggae and ragga sound. I'm kind of new to the scene though and keen to build a collection.. does anyone have any suggestions of artists I should try?
I appreciate any help you can give me!

You can get 2 great I Roy CDs at most shops - they are Presenting/Hell And Sorrow on Trojan(2 of his greatest LPs on 1 disc) and "Don't Check Me For No Lightweight Stuff" on Blood And Fire.
Another great album to check is Big Youth "Natty Universal Dread" 3 CD set on Blood And Fire, 50+ of his best recordings from the early days.
Studio 1 DJs on Soul Jazz is very good also.

As far as Prince Jazzbo is concerned, the "Ital Corner" album (produced by Lee Perry) is one of my all time favourites. On the "Superape" album of the Upsetters, you will find a very convincing dubcut featuring Prince Jazzbo as well.
"If deejay was your trade" released by the Blood and Fire label, gives a nice overview of the period 75-79 with tracks by Tapper Zukie, I Roy, Jazzbo, Dr. Alimantado, Jah Stitch,...
