Here's a curious one. The above album listed in Roots Archives has the following track list:
Riot In Birmingham
Sufferation And Starvation
Mask Execution In Angola
Blood In South Africa
Death To All Racist
Don't Rape The Black Daughter
Rasta Conference
Stop Oppression Now

Know Your Culture

But my CD copy (the one with the purple cover, with Yabby and Scientist sat at mixing desk) has this track list:

2. gates of zion dub (m. prophet)
3. man of experience dub (m. prophet)
4. know the right dub (m. prophet)
5. roots man time dub (m. prophet)

1. fight it to the top dub (m. prophet)
2. no friend in this time dub (m. prophet)

So what's going on??

I have the Purple cover album (with Yabby and Scientist) on CD and the tracklist on mine is different to what you state.

Mine is

1. Free Up Your Heart - M. Prophet
2. Give Me Your Loving - M. Prophet
3. Know The Right - M. Prophet
4. Know The Right Dub
5. Fight It To The Top Dub
6. No Friends In This Time - M. Prophet
7. No Friends In This Time Dub (This is not the dub to track 6 but an instrumental track that has been mistitled)
8. Every Tongue Shall Tell - P. Andy
9. There Must be A Way - W. Wade

The serial number is YVJ008CD.

The red Prophets album omits the Wayne Wade track but contains two dubs that are not on my CD. These are "Rasta Conference" and "Stop Oppresion

The other 8 tracks on the Prophets album are the same as the other 8 tracks on my CD.

Finally getting back to this. Yes my CD has sane track titles as yours Rootsnan. The ones I quoted are in fact the actual tracks and artists.
A complete mess and much detective work and what's with the split stereo on a couple of tracks: voice one channel and instruments in the other? Curious

I got the same CD release. The split stereo is really irritating. My question: There is only the dub version of "No friend in this time", no original right? The dub is absolutly über-wicked imho, but I'd love to hear the original.

The vocal track is on Michael Prophet 'Know The Right' album.
