I'll give this one a listen again at the weekend and report back. I also have a couple of Soferno B 12's that might match these dubs, from Al Campbell and Merlene Weber.

I recall some of these riddims also appear on this set...

sorry Appie, the Soferno singles I have (Al Campbell-Gone Down the Drain & Merlene Webber/Vin Gordon 12") do not match any of the tracks on "Dub 1980 Style." A couple of the rhythms are familiar from the Revolutionaries set, but I don't know the original vocals.

Let's check Lloyd Campbell singles from the time period, he often produced the material Soferno released in the UK.

Soferno B was a pretty succesful soundsystem back in the days, they also played along Jah Shaka. It wouldn't surprise if those are remixes of unreleased dubplate cuts..

I was watching the Clash movie,RUDE BOY and in one scene the main character walks past a London music store with SOFERNO B painted all over the window and door !
