I heard this song some years ago before the internet and I cannot find it anywhere. Its a rockers tune....the only words that I remember are "you dont know what tomorrow will bring...just fadeaway" its a nice groove/classic and I beileve it was Judys beautiful voice that I heard. Please help if you can...be blessed!

Neneh Cherry of The New Age Steppers (On U Sound) record a fantastic version of Fade Away in 1981.

It's Ari Up, not Neneh Cherry who sings 'Fade Away' on the first New Age Steppers album.

Yes she did;

Neneh Cherry wasn't really formally part of On-U, but she was around a lot in the early days, and certainly with New Age Steppers. I saw her perform with Adrian and Gary Clail at an On-U Sound System show at Manchester Ritz back in 1987, supported by 808 State and A Guy Called Gerald! Mad and fabulous gig.

She was young, maybe latina or half-black, half-white and she had an album in the 80"s with songs like "New Age" and "I want to play house with you". Rachel something, I think. Thanks.
