riddim & original song id

the i&i selection been released in 1999 but i feel that the riddim might be older, but not too sure. they've also used six babylon riddim for fantan moja/l.thompson combo back in 2000 it was also original version from the 70s.
aside of that i would like to know which pop song was sampled cause i know this melody from other music like jazz or beebop or whatever
