looking for two old reggae songs.

1. "I walk a thousand miles just to see you smile..."

2. "it hurt, hurt soooo bad... deep in my soul"

those are the only lyrics I can remember for each song. It probly came out in the late 60's early 70's... and I believe they are both by the same artist. it's some early ska style...

any help will be appreciated! thanks!

The first one must be Alton Ellis' and Heptones' "Pure Sorrow".

Regarding the second song, no particular tune comes to mind but it could very well be an Alton Ellis one.
