I was wondering if someone could tell me anything about the instrument used in this tune, that organ sound is amazing. I was thinking about picking up keys and I would love to learn on this type of instrument.

check for a Hammond B3 Organ it has many draw bars to make the sound you want.
the further you go up on the draw bars it makes more of a treble sound.
maybe what you were after?

Those look nice, but very expensive. I wouldn't really expect that this kind of top notch organ would have been used that early in Jamaica.

download the organized trio vst use a cheap midi keyboard, cheap option, pretty awesome software and free.
