Please ID these songs

I am going through a tape of songs I recorded off the radio in the early 1980s and have come across two songs I can not ID. The first has lyrics that are Police (or Please) Officer Don't Be a Warrior (or Worrier)

The second song has lyrics that seem to include "some are general, some are criminal" and "dead and gone"

Any assistance would be very much appreciated

First song sounds like "Peace Officer" by Jimmy Cliff

Ha! That's the one, thanks. Not police or please, but peace, the one option I never thought of, lol!

The second song in question may have the same line as that found in Eek-A-Mouse's Terrorists in the City. It sounds like "him dead and gone.
Jah know that him history still a go on"

Did Eek cover someone else's song there, or grab that phrase from some where else?

That line is also in Eek's "Falling Heroes"

That's it!!! Thanks so much for both the answers, can't tell you how good it is to be able to get copies of these songs without the 25 years worth of accumulated static and tape hiss that make my one copy virtually unlistenable. Thanks again.
