hi guys!
iam curious to know, mostly from those of you living in the uk and in the london region,if you ever happened to know a boys band called burning bush.they released a maxi single on kongo records called GO TO SCHOOL-JAH IS COMING i think the byron lye fook produced it and is the father of some of the band members.
the mother of the bass player neal tekler morrisson offered me the single while we were attending some concerts on goree island(famous for its slave transit center and its slave house located 20 minutes by ferry off the dakar coast) back in december of 1987.i would be very glad to have info regarding them and maybe link up with tekler morrisson the bass player and his mother with whom i shared nice discussions while attending MOJA NYA who came to perform in this festival;or anyone from this band be it the lye fook roland lye fok or kimon lye fook etc.i heard lately that they are siblings with omar of"there is nothing like this"fame
