Still looking for info @ Midnight Riders...HELP!

Hello RA Community. I am still looking to find information about who are the singers in the vocal group Midnight Riders. I have participated in and even went back and re-read all previous RA forum discussions regarding MR and still no new info has come up.
Collectively we have comprised a great catalog of thier music, we have even heard a story about how they blew away a headlining act with thier opening performance at a show in Texas, but still no info on who they are.
The closest we have come to discovering the names of the singers is by noting the names that are listed as writing credits on some of thier various singles. We have come up with the names: W. Powell and E. Thompson. Now I know that this is only useful if we assume that the person writing the lyrics are part of the group...but hey, atleast it is a start - and it gives us a lead to follow.
So here is why I am starting yet another post - two reasons actually. The first is to ask all of you to take a look at your records and see if you can find any other credits that might help us in the search. The second thing I am asking is for anyone who has ever seen them perform live, to share the experience of the show as well as to confirm how many were singing (male and female).
I do appreciate all that you can find and I know that again, collectively we can come up with some more answers than one man alone can do. And just one more suggestion: If anybody could get in touch with any of the producers of MR songs and ask them for info, that would be great.
Thank you all for your interest and for your help.

Adam

Winston Powell (not Wee Pow from Stone Love, diff person) is the lead vocalist. the other members were his wife and a next bredda, who usually did harmonies. though Ms. Powell did lead vocals on the tune "stay a little bit longer" released on LFG 7". they are from around Channel 1 area, Kingston 13. Winston hasn't done music for a while but i'll be doing some new tracks with him soon. we have a lot more KILLER MR's music to release. Tasha had planned to release a Midnight Riders LP in the 80s, but it never came together. there are also more tracks done for Channel 1 that were never released. there is a very recent thread about them on chattymouth forum where i posted the discography of their released tunes.

i just recorded new tunes with Winston in Kingston, which will be released soon on a new imprint of ours. Midnight Rider is one of my two all-time favorite reggae artists so it's been a pleasure and honor to be able to know him and work with him. truly humble guy. it's more Midnight RideR than RiderS, as his wife and the next dude just did harmonies and Winston sung lead on all but one record. in the chattymouth thread i posted their released discography. as far as both Winston and I know, it is complete as posted. i have the material for the remainder of his unreleased Channel 1 and Tasha tunes, and all being well, it will all be released over time. between those two producers alone there is enough material for multiple LP's. there are a few more unreleased things out there somewhere from other producers that we are working on tracking down as well. with regards to E. Thompson, there is no E. Thompson involved except for Errol "ET" Thompson who produced the song "me a no gunman." more info soon...
