Whilst doing the usual web crawling, i stumbled across an interesting website. The website is called Playora.co.uk (not affiliated!).
From initial impressions, it seems that the site allows users to register an account and promote their music or music promotion related services at the rate of £10 or $16. No more, no less. You are first greeted by a list of services which includes mixing, mastering, video intros, social network promotion & Voice overs. There is also a blog and a help forum plus live help.
I created an account to investigate. My initial impressions were spot on! With a simple update from your control panel, you can advertise whatever you would like for $16.
Amazingly, it seems to be very popular. One users had 5 orders in the queue waiting to be completed and over 36 pieces of positive feedback. It seems that this could really be useful to some people whilst others are going to make some nice income.
Its a very interesting website, definitely worth having a look at if you have the time.
