Just thought i would recommend this site to roots fans. Bristol Archive records is run as an archive for Bristol bands,including Punk & Reggae.It includes histories,photos and biogs of bands like Black Roots,Talisman,Restriction and Joshua Moses, which may be familiar to roots archives followers.Well worth checking out imo.They also release vinyl and cds by aforementioned bands.

As well as "The Bristol Reggae Explosion 1978 - 1983" there is a very limited single being released for Record Store Day, (April 16th), featuring Sharon Bengamin and Joshua Moses and a Talisman album comimg on 9th May. We are working on volume 2 of "The Bristol Reggae Explosion" which should be as strong as volume 1 and hopefully include some previously unreleased tracks, we also have plans for a series of 7" and 12" reissues.

I bought volume 1 recently, a very strong compilation cant wait for volume 2. Will be checking out Bristol Archives in the future highly recommended site!
