Out of curiosity: does anyone know if these will be released online as 320kbps mp3's? If so, where?

I don't think DKR releases stuff online. Looking forward to buy these. The McWoner was one of those tunes I never thought I would own in my life.

thanks for the repress of that rocks and mountains tune. I wonder why you did the least rare cut though. It's the one that showed up on ebay all the time. There are at least 8 other (some much heavier) cuts.

Saw the same thing with ras ronald - it's me mama and Kunte Kinte (at Pressure Sounds which was basically 1 original cut out of 4 and 2 recent/modern mixed pieces )

we released what was on master tape. which is probably why you think it is the "least rare" cut - the tune was mostly cut on dub plate using this tape. it is certainly possible/likely there are other custom/one-off mixes, but this is the one which was available to us. personally, i do not qualitatively judge tunes by their "rarity" so the idea that this might be the "least rare" mix of an already very obscure, half-forgotten and mysterious tune was of no concern to me. it's a small miracle in the first place that this tape still existed and that we could locate it and use it. anyway, considering the way tunes like this were generally disseminated at the time, i personally question the authenticity of these endless "mixes" of rare tunes which circulate on the internet. in summation, you're welcome.
