Re: Reggae Vinyl Search
Very cool!
My only little peeve is the use of the term "vinyls," which probably just ages me, really. Can I just go on a tiny, harmless rant and then you can ignore me? I'm just a little bored:
Vinyl is a substance, not an audio format. They're called "records" You have recordings on vinyl, but the item itself isn't "a vinyl" it's "a record, or "an lp". The formats are cassettes, CDs and records (or lps).
Not that that makes any sense or really means anything, but it's just that no one ever called them vinyls until just a few years ago. I'm not sure how or why it started.
OK, I'll go away now. Again, great site.

Hey flashman, is your real name Dr. Sheldon Cooper by any chance?
Just kidding, no disrespect of course.

I do get like that sometimes, I realize. Not proud of it but I can't always control it.

Re: Reggae Vinyl Search
Nice site Swaby...but reminds me how crappy the U.S. shop scene is compared to UK/Japan etc. Aside from EB's, things are pretty limited and there are very few shops offering nice used LP inventories. Non-New Yorkers like myself are pretty much relegated to Discogs/Ebay for used stuff, but I much prefer to pay a couple more dollars to buy from a reliable seller/retailer.
