MUCH respect to Blood and Fire for a KILLER set by GLENN BROWN/KING TUBBY titled "Termination Dub" - World Dub: Away With The Bad" is the most amazing dub i have heard... TOP marks in my book!

I've been a huge early Aswad fan ever since I started listening to reggae, so it truly beats me as to why I got their "A New Chapter Of Dub" only a few days back.

And this is dub at its best to me, no questions asked!! Unbelievable echoes and sound effects, the texture is so deep yet so HIGH, not enough words to describe it even adequately. I will be listening to this for a while now ;D

To Sean: Slum In Dub mixed by Prince Jammy is really good gregory isaacs in dub

To Marky Dread: Termination dub is crucial! Yagga Yagga to Blood & Fire for releasing such a great cd. I agree, World Dub: Away With The Bad is the best track on the album and one of the best dub tracks ever. King Tubby at his finest!

yeah i was very aware of the uniquely jammys touches on the slum album..some sounds were very uniquely jammy touches. actuall all riddims on it are utterly unique, a true gregory touch. youll not hear them riddims elsewhere..even if clocktower did pirate them for some release or another..

its the best feature of this thread, hearing of the very varied choices of best dub album. actually for me its very hard to get a definitive choice, the following being top ranking contenders.scientist..the peoples choice
dub landing vols 1 and 2 by scientist and jammy.
eastman dub by pablo
arkology threefer by lee perry.
dangerous dub by tubby and the roots radics.
every scientist greensleeves album.
and more that i cant recall..great dub at its best

hold of death on rhino has some spiffing tracks on it. its allegedly lee perry but may be a fake. at any rate the tracks like zoic and the man zion are tremendous tunes
