Just heard Michael Rose African dub, sounds good but i never liked it three months back when first i heard it.Nice vocal snippets there i see.

easily anything scientist did.

just got king tubby/if deejay was your trade as well
as once upon a time at Tubby's and I'm very dissappointed! definately the worst Tubby stuff I now own.

"If Deejay was your trade" might be a pretty poor dub album, in fact its a very bad dub album but its a bloody good DJ album (tu)

Also "Once Upon a Time at King Tubbys" is not strictly dub

Yeah, both albums are great, if you ask me. And neither is a dub album, so it seems there is some confusion of terminology going on?

I think African Dub Chapter Vol. 1 is my favourite if I recall correctly. Contains classic version of the Ba Boom Boom riddim (as played in the film Rockers as they recover the stolen Bike etc.)

Garveys ghost..well go and listen to the sweet burning spear tunes there.
It is terrific and thats the truth.Good use of piano and guitar.

oh yeah they're definately not dub albums, I assumed they were because Tubby's name was on them. A mistake.
