At work and blasting Prince Alla – Sweet Sensation (Evil Forces retitled) from my phone to the PC speakers. No bass to speak about but still worthwhile I guess.
Also was given a poster by a colleague from a campaign my company ran in the early 00's (we focus on the industrial vacuum field). »Conveying of various types of herbs in the Netherlands« it says with big letters on the top.
Dunno why I was given it though...

Ahaha must be nice poster lol. I guess they just know you like reggae.
Its hard to fight the stereotype that a reggae lover must be a weed smoker... well its true most of the time, but the people saying it often overlook the reggae as a form of art. They just seem to see it as a form of relaxing beach/vacation music, not to be taken seriously. Well to each is own i guess, cause whenever i try explaining past this perception, most people fall asleep anyway.

Yeah... of course it has to do with me being the office reggae nut (all though there's another guy that listens quite a lot to Midnite). But yeah. Has a lot to do with the stereotype. And since I have a poster of Selassie on my office wall I guess I help provide some fuel for it as well
Now I'm playing Barrington Levy - Teach Me Culture. Fantastic album.

The Observer book of Iroy, a tremendous 11 song cd of him toasting over Dennis Brown and others.
