Of course, when u hear this 12" any good reggae listener can clearly identify the strong presence of tubby's influence on Jammy's works, specially on the dub side....

I guess the "KING" title posession has proved very harmful to him... lol :)

this king jammy business..it appears to coincide with the change in jammy to dancehall and screaming vocal productions, away from the dub he was good at before

I have several Jammy chunes, pre-digital, and I reckon he's in the charts as far as producers go. He ain't no King Tubby and he's not a Lee Perry either. But in his own way, he did a good job and I certainly enjoy spinning his tunes.

If he wants to call himself KIng, then that's up to him. But for me, anyone is a mere pretender to the Real King's crown. I'm talking about King Tubby of course.
