This, in my opinion:
[cover=2474,2847]

I was listening to it for the first time today. Cheesy synths, lightweight bass and disco-influenced beats. Not good.

Totally disagree with you. In fact, I'd buy it just for "Edward The Eight". :)

I disagree too. Errol T , genius engineer. Sly, LLoyd Parks, etc...genius musicians.
Some 70s disco influences and "cutting-edge" (well in the 70s) influences...and a bit of gimmick and nonsense too....but still classic music IMHO.

Hey, it's my opinion and I'm entitled to hold an unpopular one... ;)

I loved the African Dub series but this one just feels 'bleh' to me. I expected much more, considering the calibre of the people involved.

I say stick with it and it will grow on you. Let's face it you haven't really given it much of a chance. :)

Thanks for that album advice 6anbatte. In discussing rubbishy dub, the problem is that Tubby and Scientist were the real masters and most others dont come near. Most of the time. There are many exceptions though.
