Sean, love the idea of a "dub suitcase",must get hold of one!
crazydreads,if your still listening, check out the Evolution of Dub series of cds.each boxset contains 4 classic dub albums focusng on a different period in dub history.a fairly cheap way to build up a dub collection.

Didn't go through the thread, so all my picks might be featured already. I might even have replied already. From the top of my head these are very impressive dubs / discomixes
Mr Know It All / Gregory Isaacs
Great Stone / King Tubby (prince allah Stone)
Scientist whole "Vampires" album and also the album with the space stuff
Dub Is My Occupation / credited to Tubby i think it's Jammy though (never found the original)
Dub Driver / jammy (Slave Driver - Dennis Brown)
Jammy's A No Fool / Jammy (Play Fool To Get Wise - Johnny Clarke)
Callying Butt / Lee Perry (Bushweed Corntrash - Ricky & Bunny)
Know Love / Twin Roots
Where Eagles Dare / Harry Mudie meets King Tubby (Ethiopia - Bunny Maloney)
Version 78 Style/ Jammy (Deuteronomy - Sylford Walker)
Armageddon Dub / Bunny Wailer (armagideon)
12" mix of Keep On Moving by The Wailers

Ah yes, i have a suitcase packed with dub cds. There are around 100 cds there.Currently my faves include rasta business dub by Gregory Isaacs from the extra classic vocal and cd set.A great tune. Also i like dub wiser by Augustus Pablo from Rising Sun.As well as London Bridge Special by King Tubby on Dangerous dub.
