quote problem

Post by msr »

hey!
I saw at this forum big quote "It's easier for a camel, to go through a needle's eye, than for a version to die, believe me". Does anyone know if this quote is from a trak?

Its been used on several tracks.

Another take on the lyrics is "Its easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for the wicked to enter the Kingdon of Zion".

Cannot rememeber the track at this moment in time.

I reckon I have that phrase used on a least 2 or 3 songs.

Buju Banton sings this lyric as well in "til I'm Laid to Rest" on 'Til Shiloh.

Sugar Minott's 'Vanity' is another one.

I looked everywhere in the internet for the song below but can't find the artist and the title.

The lyrics:

The rich man get richer and the poor get poorer,
& the world we live today is upside down,
The wife get the husband, and... the brothers get the sisters,
& the world we live today is upside down,

It's easier for a camel, to go through a eye of a needle,
Than for a big rich man enter the kingdom of God, (repeats)

Give another chance to the Lord, let the peace come rule into your heart,
Give your fellow man a helping hand, let the peace come rule into your mind,

I would love to know more

Best regards,
Symone
