@ jj

The album you are talking about , " The Dub Album They Didn't Want You To Hear " .. " (which is the dub counterpart to Flick Wilson's " School Days " ) isn't the same one being discussed :)

If I do understand it right, it's not the Germain record reissued, but the record which was originally planned to be be issued in that cover.

If this is correct, then it's not the Germain LP reissued, but a record never released before. Right?

So what the hell was released in that cover in 1980? Who is it?

More or less what you said. A Germain dub LP that was released in very limited quantities :) It was quite interesting but ultimately not a great dub album. Three cuts of Dirty Harry, one nice Cultural Roots dub and then some quite anonymous dubs. If I remember correctly from the samples that were added to an auction with this.

Thanks to kalcidis and gbougard for reply.
But as I do love the WRONG Jah Live in Dub record on Germain, I would like to get more infos about this one. Who done the mixing? What year? Producer, musicians?

it's 10 Scientist dubs to Barrington Levy.

3 are the same mixes that later appeared on "Big Showdown", the other 7 are previously unreleased mixes, including a dub to the song "Jah Life" which has never been released before anywhere.

the info about the jackets, Germain LP, etc. are correct as Guillaume recounted. i posted this info on BAF a good while ago when the LP first sold on ebay for a huge amount.
Is it 'next week' yet?!
