seems to be a confusion bout the guy paul blake for the blood fire posse. the paul blake from that group isn't frankie paul. though the guy in the blood fire posse does share frakie paul's real name "paul blake". 2 different guys.
also check the pics out as well, just so you can confirm with yourselves, that it is indeed not him.

I just said he was 'Frankie Paul's namesake', not Frankie Paul himself. They just share the same name, the 'real' name. That's all, so there was no mix-up to begin with

Someone asked about Kotch, but u refered to them as a band, well there is a well known reggae singer called Kotch who lives on one of the carribean islands, maybe grenada or somewhere like that, he did the song Tears plus loads more.

But i been searching for tunes of kotch for years trying to find this one tune i love but i never found it, called "I Gotta go now girl", does anyone know this tune?

By the way the blood+fire posse had a documentary made about them in the early 80's, was about there trip to a prison up north!!and they played for the inmates!

Paul Blake is now a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He's still based in Jamaica (Montego Bay) but travels extensively...mostly in the USA. GO TO YOUTUBE AND CHECK OUT HIS MINISTRY ON THE STREETS OF MONTEGO BAY (STREET CHURCH SOLD OUT MINISTRIES). His ministry is called Sold Out Ministries.

If I remember well Paul Blake and the Bloodfire possee performed live on reggae sunsplash in 1985 at Paradiso in Amsterdam. Dutch national radio broadcasted 30 minutes of this live performance (together with sly and robbie, backing up gregory isaacs).

Not only did they play get flat, but they performed an interesting medley of ja music with songs like westbound train, herbman hustling,..

I still must have the tape somewhere.
