Hi Arize Rootsman

Just looked it up and the Renegades were Bread, Pipe, George "Buddy" Haye and "...a bredren called Rupert Edwards - he wasn't a professional singer, but he lived in Trench Town".

They cut a handful of sides for Federal;

"Lost Love", "Why Make Me Cry", "Too Young To Fall In Love" and "Hot Hops".

As it was around 1965 it was in an R&B style.

Respect to Jackson but i think this available on the album "Soul and power"

Yes Ninjah, I think it's track 11 (maybe some pressings only?) as it's not listed here:

The version side is exclusive to the 7"

ok besides "take we back" are there other singles out there that are as rootsie as this song that wasn't put on a album ?
