Yeah, I ended up having to pay around $30 for the Inturns lp with shipping! So, just like you, I downloaded the Jimmy Riley, which I also hate. Sucks. ( I hate downloads, not Jimmy Riley

I heard some labbrish that Pressure Sounds wouldn't sell their 7" singles to Ernie wholesale, so he decided to boycott the label. I think "boycott" is a pretty strong word, though. I've also heard that PS makes more money selling their product from their own web site, so perhaps they have simply cut back on wholesale distribution outside of the UK? I was disappointed that I had to order the two new latest PS releases and the Yabby You box set from Amazon so that I could get them from one source. I would have rather given my dunza to Ernie!

Well the net result is, at least in the US, is less business for both of them.
Which sucks because i'd love to support them for the good work that they do. I hope the 7" story isn't true, but it's sure hard to get PS 7"s, 10's etc ahere in the US now. I don't have a problem finding the cd or lps.

I've been a fan and customer of both, so this situation sucks. It's kind of like hating on your brother or sister. Now who wants that?

Personally I grow less and less enthusiastic about PS releases. The last album they released that I really loved was the Dennis Bovell double LP. Some nice singles have been released since then but no albums I have played more than a couple times.

EB should really stock those Black Label Archive 7"s from last year. I put in an order with Honest Jon's after growing tired of waiting. They are all brilliant previously unreleased tunes with crystalline sound.

Sugar Minott - U N I T Y
Don Angelo - What A Situation

Some are better then others, But the Viceroys/inturns (Consider Yourself) lp was/is fantastic. Well, worth getting if you don't own it.
I've generally liked stuff on the Archive label but don't have those 7's. Thanks for the tip. And yes it can be frustrating waiting for those releases to come in stock on EB. I've been there waiting and wondering!

You're right about Consider Yourself. Classic clean through.
