What does one say...to such Inspiration as one sees here? A couple years ago I first heard the song "Rockers" by Bunny Wailer on a reggae show in Albany, NY. Very mystified by the melody, unique instrumentation and sound effects, I made it a top priority to find the CD, and well it gets quite a bit of use! The Rockers DVD was just given to me as a gift a few weeks ago. I was very taken by the performance of Kiddus-I singing Graduation in Zion, and came upon your forum when doing a search for his albums sometime in January. For some reason I have been playing the Kiddus-I track for the past couple days. Revisiting your forum today, I was amazed and inspired to see that Kiddus-I himself kindly responded to all of you personally. I am continually humbled when one person asks for something in a true heartfelt way, and what they ask for comes back to them tenfold...

I very much look foward to the release of the Kiddus-I compilation from Dub Store International, Japan. I'll echo the sentiments of Mr.Brown---MUCH THANKS and a BIG UP, as they say in Jamaica, to Dave, Frank Kiddus-I Dowding and of course Roots-Archives.com creators. Kiddus-I, Blessings to you and your family, and Thank you for your contributions to Conscious Reggae music, I hope to hear your compilation album soon!

I have those two songs on Jah Dynasty, and there are a clear difference in delivery and voice. Keatus I and Kiddus is two different individuals, so don't mix them up, please.

Kiddus I is one of the finest roots singers ever to come out of Jamaica, check the Makasound Ina De Yard cd that just came out for proof, excellent voice an' songs.The Japanese album should be tasty as well, I hope it gets a European release/distribution as well...

Kiddus I will perform in Paris on a big reggae fest alongside Bob Andy, Junior Murvin, the Meditations and others in the middle of May. So anyone who can, go down there and give yourself a treat. That acoustic cd is worth the price you pay to get it, believe me.

There was and I still hope that today there still is a very different mellowing, moving and insirational singing voice to this man. I have meditated to this music on many a day and have been truly uplifted. I for one cannot understand why your name is not up there with the greats.

I love the rockers movie and the song by kiddus I is one of my favourites. I really tried to get more from the I. I didn't even know that he recorded more than this song, because one Idren said that "gradiuation in zion" is the only song he ever recorded. I would like to have an album with all his songs he recorded in the 70ies and I am also looking forward for this release.

It's a pleasure that Kiddus I appeared in this forum. Still can't believe it.
