@I-Lion Tafari; perhaps you mean, the difference between 440 Hz and 432 Hz?
If so, it has to do with a more natural experience of tones according to (some) musicians.

Every Coxsone re-release in the mid/late 80s ruined by overdubbed drum machines.

Wackies' "Time Is Now/Revolution" disco ruined by syndrums, as is every recording ever made that includes them.

Crappy saxophone leads--ditto.

I love it how different peoples' tastes are. A friend of mine absolutely adores saxophone solos. And I like some of Sly's mid 80s syndrums stuff (Anthem, Brutal, Positive).
