Yes, it's a mistake, they have the barcode number (EAN) in the description, and it is the one for the release linked to on Amazon above.

Thanks for these infos. The Michael Prophet CD is going to be great. Another early 80s Junjo reissue! Keep em coming. Big up Burning Sounds!

Isn't MP's 'Certify" the same album as "Jah Love" on Live & Learn?

It's close but not exactly the same. They share 6 of 9 tunes. I listened to both the other night to check because I bought Certify a few days ago, not realizing about the overlap with Jah Love, which I already have.

2 of the different tunes on Jah Love are also on Love is an earthly thing lp, another '83 lp.

So, if you have Certify and Love Is An Earthly Thing, Jah Love only has one unique track.

But Certify still has 3 tracks that aren't on either of the other two

I could specify which tracks I'm talking about but I'm too lazy to check at the moment.

Thanks flashman, I do indeed have "Love Is An E T" so I think I can safely save a few $$ & pass on buying the Certify release.

Thanks again

A Reggae album with alternative titles and tracklisting? Impossible ;-)

Thanks flashman and jj. Kinda sad, I thought I was in for a "new" Michael Prophet album. Anyway... bought it already, wasn't that expensive. One more for the collection and at least 3 tracks that are new to me (since I don't own the LP Love Is An Earthly Thing).

To clarify, Certify has three tracks not on either Jah Love or Love Is An Earthly thing. The three came out in the same year. I guess that might be why there's overlap? But I think Certify has the best cover, so I don't mind that I only got three new tunes with it (or so I tell myself :-) ). Plus my Jah Love was a reissue as well, and these new Burning Sounds reissues seem to be much higher quality that the L&L reissues.

Wonder what the 10' contains:

The classic 1973 reggae album re-issued on CD and 180 gram vinyl, plus a bonus 4-track 10” Disc.

1983 not 1973 of course. If someone buys the vinyl, please tell us about the bonus cuts on the 10inch. Thanks.
