Hi Lion
That would make sense as it definitely has a different feel to the rest of the album.

The version I have is indeed on 'Original Music' - I am seeking the (real) original on Dread and Drea. I'd be happy to hear from anyone selling this version.

OK guys.
I am presently playing the Dread and Dread pressing of this LP.
The tracks playing follow the label listing.
The track listing on the 'Original Music' re-issue is completely different. I know call it a re-issue not a repress as it is visably a different pressing - Matrix Nos. are all different, different amount of tracks on side two.)
One thing that is the same: Errol's voice sound like he is singing in a different room to the band, via a tin can telephone! But I would say, havin listened to both side by side, the Dread and Dread is a better pressin, there's a fair amount of distortion to Errol's voice ont he re-issue.
Fly Your Dread has no dub version on the Dread and Dread pressing.
Dread and Dread first press listing is as per Roots Archive listing:
A
Vision Of Africa
My Brethren
Jah Light
Happiness
Fly Your Dread
B
Jamaica Peace Treaty
Easy Niah Man
Ethiopia
Babylon Queendom
Queendom Fall
Original Music version goes:
A
Jah Light
My Brethren
Fly Yuh Dread
Fly Yuh Dread Dub
B
Happiness
Ethiopia
Babylon Queendom
Easy Niah Man
Visions of Africa
In other words, if you want the full deal, you need to score both LPs...
Thanks uTodd for reminding me of this thread by PM as the re-issue was about to go in my Sale bin, but now I decided to keep both as they are essentially different LPs!

I agree arize, it is a patchy LP.
The good tracks are great, the bad ones are depressing.
The vocal mix is er, unusual.
Flabba is better placed in the back of the band and allowing the more gifted vocalist to take the front stand, I feel.

i don't know, leggo, i find the froggy vocalists dearest to my heart, the Eric Clarke's and Flabba's and Fari's carry a ton o' potency with gruff sound as vehicle. Ruff gruff voice and sweet sweet sound seems symbolic of Jamaica in many ways.

I don`t think his voice is to bad.
Listen to "Who have Eyes to See"
Great track, especially like the riddim.
