well any studio would be rivals they each wanna have the better sound, but artists wise back to my first ? would u know if those people i mentioned, u think they would of been rivals ? i mean they all doing what they love to do is play and write music, and sending positive messages but were they all rivals at session times ?

Where Linval and Junjo rivals? I always thought they where on the good foot with each other since Junjo was Linvals protegé at a time.

linval thompson brought out henry junjo lawes but he didnt expect that he would have the top ranking sound i guess dats why they were rivals, to see who had the top ranking sound at that time

About Bob and Niney...

I think it's more Bunny Lee, the producer of "Mr Chatterbox" that was rival of Niney, instead of Bob...

peter tosh always seemed a little bit resentful of bob's higher level of commercial success. the song "what they will do" from dread and alive makes me think about this friendship turned bitter.

no one mentioned joe gibbs and lee perry ?

lee perry " people funny boy " and

joe gibbs take on it " people grudgeful boy"

i think perrys was first but im not sure. and im not really sure the story behind it. some info into that would be nice if anyone knows.

bunny wailer has hated lee perry for like 20 years now so that's got to be a bit of one
