I always wanted to visit the UK. On consciousradio everyone say there are no reasonably priced places to stay..so I figured I rent a room from you...(kidding) Actually, a few people in that chat room have offered me a room in dem house.
Next time I go to the record stores in Kingston, I gonna carry a Santa Claus sack, the prices are too sweet and so many albums to choose. Hate it when I have hit the weight limit.

Nice vibes from you always, I appreciate that!
Positive vibes sent to you as well~

Your consious radio friends are talking rubbish!

Although I guess the present low level dollar won't help affordability.

Maybe they only visit London, which, like New York, is hardly representative of the rest of the country. Usually a London price is 2 or even 4 times a provincial price. That goes for food and rooms.

I guess it may be more expensive than rural America, which from my experience can be very cheap, but then in those places them poor local people struggle on wages of maybe only two bucks an hour! (The UK minimum wage is set at over five pounds an hour)

And why kid about staying in my home? You would be welcome. As long as you behave yourself, my pickneys are very strict and no like no badness. :)

As a former London motorcycle messenger and London resident, I could show you parts of London no tour guide could. But I would insist you leave London to see the real England, Scotland, Wales and God's very own country, Ireland.

If you have watched the Da Vinci Code film, then you have already seen some of my present home city, Lincoln. The wonderful and 1,000 year old Lincoln Cathedral was used extensively in the film.

I have been fortunate enough to have seen so many beautiful people and places. And the three (and a half) counties that make up the UK - and of course Ireland - are all definately worth a visit.

I as well have met some amazing people. My life has been full I have savored much.

Glad to know there are affordable spots to lay ya head pon di pillow.

Wales is for me as I am a horse-riding "ooman"...Once upon a time, I was Connecticut State Champion...
Saw a documentary on Wales. Need to get me a horse for a day and wonder in the green, lushness Wales has to offer.

You are quite lucky to live in all that beauty.
Capetown is a must....next summer~
BTW, had Ethiopian cuisine this sweet, sunny Mothers Day....I embrace all cultures and differences.
