Ites Brethrens,
I always eat at Waziema, a small Ethiopian restaurant on Divisadero St. in San Francisco. Yes! The injera bread is crucial.. I always get the vegetable combo from there.. I'm not exactly sure of what it is composed.. but ital nonetheless. Sadly.. I haven't gotten much of a sample of anything off of Ranking Trevor's list. Can anyone recommend some good Jamaican restaurant in the Bay Area?

@ Sean - Thanks!
@ Jah Glu - No I meant Govinda's in London. Back in 1981 I was actually employed there as assistant cook!
Not been to Copenhagen for a very very long time. Have fond memories of sitting in the free city (Christiania) 'reasoning' with the locals. Sadly, I understand it is now gone.
The place I used to eat at in Copenhagen was not Govindas, but I think The Golden Temple. Run by guys and girls in turbans. Great vegetarian food and lovely Chai (spiced tea) too.
There was a place run by the same people in Amsterdam, but I couldn't find this when I was last there, maybe three or four years ago now.

Re: Jamaican food vs Ethiopian
Well I see some are VERY cut-throat about those that choose to eat fish....now I'm sorry I ever started the thread....
People do not have to eat the same food, listen to the same music, read the same books, the world would be a bore.
I have noticed so many that claim to be totally vegan and then they wear a leather crown, belt, shoes, wallet, car interior is leather.....so it goes...and off I go...lata fi di un-irie vibes.
A thread was started about why woman don't post much here....
Leggo, I saw a bumber sticker for you..."I don't eat anything with a face"....SMILES~
Bye reggae/vinyl-lovers....Rootsgal gwahn fi awhile. Hate bad vibes...seen?
I'll come back when "the dust settles"...

Ites Rootsgal,
No no.. Please eat fish! For some reason.. I've never really been able to stomach it.. but I also eat a lot of things that I'm sure would make other people cringe
