I found this LP yesterday and that's highly highly recommended, powerful afro/funk reggae :

I had an excellent surprise listening to it when i came back home as i bought it without knowing what was on.

Thanx again!
By the way: i imagine the pablove black album on studio 1 to be a funk/jazz/ reggae fusion. True or false? Seems like its hard to get..

I think you can find the Rapper's Delight by Xanadu on the 'Hustle! Reggae Diso- compilation by Soul Jazz. It also has a good versio of 'Ring my Bell' by the Blood Sisters.
You could also try the 'soul reggae' boxset by Trojan. In particular, there is a version of 'Am I black enough for you?' from Billy Paul by the Chosen Few, which is really awesome. It has also a good versions of the 'Tears of a Clown' and a wonderful recording of Midnight train to Georgia - though this is definitely more on the soul side...
Cheers
