One French singer I really like is Taïro. His voice is very special. He sings over authentic riddims.

serge gainsbourg signed 2 majors reggae lps "mauvaises nouvelles des étoiles"and "aux armes etc"with sly and robbie he recorded in jamaica at the end of the 70's and
one live called"live au pallace 79"
puppa leslie et gom jabbar"belle époque"
alpha blondy"jerusalem"and "apartheid is nazism"
all these lps are very good
