THis section "Contribute" was set up specially for the admin (designers) of this website. So that they can see what moves the visitors on this site.
I'm sure the admins will have read your reply. It's just that they are very busy working on the updates.
Once Mat/Seb are ready for their new update we will all be notified, I'm sure.

About posting pictures on the forum, we didn't allow it since the beginning because we were afraid some people would post "dirty" pictures or things like that. In the meantime, lots of people posting on forums are adding pictures as a "signature" on each of their post, sometimes huge pictures. So I think it may look like a good idea but it isn't.

What we would need is a way to submit pictures directly from the missing covers page, that can be done and I'll try to make it happen as soon as possible.

Bwoyrough, it's true I don't check this contribution page as often as I should do, it's not lazyness, just a lack of time.

thanks for the reply, i know what u mean about people putting up huge pictures for there signature, and this is very annoying, but this is easily stopped by limiting the size of the picture.
People could be banned if they post porno pics up. I think it's just a shame that people can't post pictures becuase it would enhance some of the disscussions so much, all of the other reggae forums i use allows either HTML or IMG tags and i've never seen any problems on the other forums due to this, plus you would not use up any extra bandwidth as photos would be hosted off site like on photo bucket.
Anyway i'm glad the admin read the post and hear the request, i hope they consider switching on the HTML at some point so we can add pictures. Then like i said people would have a very easy way of posting up pictures of album covers then admin could just save the pictures and put them in the gallery. Even if we just had HTML allowed in one section of the forum surely this would make this forum alot better and would enhance the roots archives so much, i'm guessing it would at least double the amount of pictures u get each week.

I'm really happy with no picture here, if you want to show something, you just have to write an url. This forum is a little place of heaven for that. Nothing aggressive for sight. I hope it won't change.

how about a photo at a someone's profile?
i'm sure nobody will post a nude photo of him/herself...
