REISSUE OF THE RASTAFARIANS "ORTODOX"

ain't no "gravelicious" thing with the band, unless i don't know about it. i man Haile Maskel don't have bad feeling against no one. it was my career to loss. all the rest of the band take it for granted - dem a de one who quit. at the time they were inexperienced about the business, they didn't know what to do. they just jumped ship on me and brother Keith. i tried to put us back together years so many times but they still never know what to do, never wanted to reunite.

i figured when Makasound asked me about it and it's been out there and i'm not getting anything out of it nor is anyone, i felt this would be the best avenue for everyone to possibly benefit. it will be fair for everyone. everyone should just be cool and see how Orthodox does with the UK release.

just to clear the record... when brother Keith fled, he sent me to Jamaica to get the master mixes of the album from Harry J and i have them. he told me to make the band just stay for 20 years to give the band sort of a legendary status and then maybe if we wanna come back together it would work out. brother Keith never made it to JA to meet me though. and i've tried many times to get us together but it never worked.

all the members themselves have told me to just focus on my solo career and they will do their own thing because they all have their own bands too.

One thing is sure that's a great new to know that this album will be reissue,
Makasound still the best !!! hope they will put some bonus on this cD as they use to do.

For those who don't know this album, First you can buy everywhere the "Fire and Rain" of Mikey Rastarr (one of the lead vocal)but the Orthodox album is more Rock like Messenjah, Steel pulse... According to me its a must on every reggae collector.

Hope we will see a reiddue of the Messenjah 's album 3rock you high" - same vibes

jordan, you don't know what you're listening to. you run into it but you didn't listen it. so go back get a good draw a weed and listen to it again. and then comment on it. you must be talking about Shaka's singing, not mine! LOL

I kept a copy for myslef and always pick it up when i see it (and have NO trouble getting rid of it). Singing is kinda like comedy and thus conditioned by one's differing personal opinions.
