thanks for the picture, one problem about this forum is they don't let u show pictures, i have no idea why i've brought this issue up before but they only allowed you to link to the jpegs in their cover archive, but not put your own images in, what the reason behind this is i have no idea. Images can enhance a thread so much and i always found it annoying that we can't add images on here.

I bet it's difficult carving outta wax, especially with it being transparent it's harder to see what your doing, but i have no idea what they usually use to make these things. Have you thought about trying to carve out of plaster of paris or something similar, soapstone maybe, this carves well.

true I believe the reason they do not like you to post images is because this site is visited so much and images some time cost money if you calculate the bandwidth used plus someone would have to monitor what kind of images someone submits.
Oh my carving is just a start I would do better with clay I just used wax because I had some at the time but I will order clay. I think when I make a mold pour concert in it and then paint my peice it will look more real, I should delete that image from my site and try again thank for inspiring me.
