Of course its imposible to have only 3 favourites albums... but, to answer the topic, there's some of them:

Jah Shaka & Twinkle Brothers - rasta surface
Dr Alimantado - best dressed chicken in town
Hugh mundell - africa must be free

Three or four Burning Spear albums could easily top my list, but these three are really special to me because I was completely blindsided by their brilliance.

I had no idea what I was about to hear and was just blown away.

* Joe Higgs *Life of Contradiction*
* Prince Alla *Heaven Is My Roof*
* Keith Hudson *Flesh Of My Skin, Blood Of My Blood*

Too hard to answer definitely, but at first reaction I would say:

1. Little Roy - Tafari Earth Uprising
2. Va - Black Slavery Days
3. Johnny Osbourne - Truth & Rights

Prince Lincoln - Natural Wild
Misty In Roots - Jah Sees... Jah Knows
Burning Spear - Man In The Hills/Dry & Heavy

Roots at its purest level. Nuttin but slammin riddims and conscious lyrics. Get these albums, you won't be disappointed.

Jah Bless and One Love.
