Here comes part 2 of mine:
a complete reissue of Donovan Germain's late 70's/early 80's productions...
like say
One Set of
Cultural Roots - 1st album
Cultural Roots - drift away from evil
Revolutionaries - cultural dub
Next set of
Joy White - sentimental reasons
Revolutionaries - sentimental Dub
and another set of
Dean Fraser - Revolutionary Sounds
and a next set with all
Revolutionaries - dub off her blouse and skirt (meaning vol.1, 2 (!) and 3 )

All that's missing is the label to do it.
rougher yet

Leggo,

The wackies re-issues are great. My only quip is that some of the releases are way two short for the single CD treatment (esp the Jr. Delahaye, Jeezreel, and many others)
They should pack more songs onto one CD like they did with Reggae Goodies 1 and 2 and the Sampler sets.
Would love to see Japanese Wackies stuff like Mute Beat re-issue (esp. the Still Echo LP!)

Darewon, I am a bit of a purist and thus happy to have the re-issue exactly mirror the original. I especially don't like the addition of duff reject tracks as so called bonus tracks. I also don't like it when the running order is messed about with.

But I guess given the capacity of a CD putting the extra to use for some killer 12 inch 45 versions makes good sense.

And the re-issue of African Anthem by Mickey Dread on Auralux really does make good use of the bonus track feature. The bonus mixes are really quality stuff, not out-takes picked up off the cutting room floor and well worth adding. I presume these tracks are from some DATC 45 12 inch versions maybe?
