Do anyone want to share some info on Ian Rock? I can remember seeing his name elsewhere, cant remeber where though. Does he have anything to do with the Nebuchadnezzar King Of Babylon LP?

I have a distant memory that Ian Rock actually stands for two Twelve Tribes' members named Ian & Rock, respectively. They have sung harmonies for Little Roy, for example. Try checking his Pressure Sounds compilation "Tafari Earth Uprising".

Litelet,

No, sorry to say, I don't own a copy. When the LP passed my way some 15 years ago, I put it on tape. That's the tape the rip is from. I can understand if the noise from the tape (and the scratches from the worn red vinyl) gives the rip a different sound from your copy of the album. Perhaps even the speed is wrong? I plugged my old Walkman into the Computer :-)

Your comments sound probable though.

I do own some Orthodox 7" and some other orthodox selection on other labels:

Baptism/Version - Don Hudson & The Sears/The 12 Tribes Band (Orthodox - Seventies press)
Africa Awaiting It's Creators/Homeward Bound - Ewan Naptali/12 Tribes Band (Orthodox - Eighties press)
Why Worry/Dub One - Israel Vibration/12 Tribes Band (Orthodox - Eighties press)
Down Here In Babylon/Version - Brent Dowe (Crazy Joe 1981)
School Children/School Version - Black Brothers/The New Establishment (Bongo Man)
To Be Poor Is A Crime/My God, My God - Still Cole/Stereo Rhythm Section (Stereo Records 1981)

I got those (and some other less great 7") from the TTI Music Body in JA 1988.

No, I never got the opportunity to attend any jah revelation dances. But I get several jah love dances in JA through 1986 to 88. Picture on the wall (Natural Ites) and Christopher Columbus (Little Roy) tore down the place :-)

Cool deh... wasnt expecting such move on this post! Great!

goldfinger swe , about your recording: the sound is better than my copy! But yours goes really slowlier, I dont know whats the real speed. Thanks for infos on other tunes... didnt know about the 80s stuff even if it's often poorer.

Any of you can drop me your email and Ill send you the VISIONAIRES - Marcus Garvey, from their 1982 Album on ORTHODOX (I cant upload it, its a real media file). I think its the crucial song to have from that album.
