hi guys
there is also an album by france-based cameroonese saxophone virtuoso recorded in jamaica with a stellar of jamaican session players including among others boris gardner, mickey boo, ansell collins among others and simply called"gone clear"manu va ala jamaique.it was recorded right after serge gainsbourg visited and recorded in jamaica with the revolutionnaries in 1979.a gem also with a nice reggae treat of "goro city".
besides,i would like to have on cd"soul of addis"which a nice collection of instrumental ethiopian ballads from the 70's.

ETHIOPIQUES is a series of Ethiopian Jazz etc
which now has over 20 volumes.
I have vol 3 which is instrumentals that sound amazing with a Reggae feel without being Reggae and also have a SANTANA feel.
these tracks were used in the BROKEN FLOWERS soundtrack....
a film starring Bill Murray
