ton1; I've actually had the album for the longest time thinking it was a rather weak and boring reggae album. I've even been close to selling it several times. Then one night after working at a club I came home and helped myself to a nice plate of left over pasta and for some reason I chose to put the record on the TT. It was magical! The harmonies and melodies all made sense in an instance. Nowadays it's one of my absolute favourite reggae albums. I just needed to hear it in the right context.
Other albums that are also very good are

Excellent albums that just keep on growing all of the time if you just give them a chance.

Roddy; yeah ... it's truly one of the greatest deejay albums I've heard. Unfortunately I don't have it. Do you know who produced it? It does sound like a Lloyd Campbell production.

Leroy Brown- Color Barrier
Great roots sound that is up there with the best in reggae.
Anthony Johnson- anything besides Gunshot.
Gunshot is wonderful but all his other work is much under-valued.
Culture- Trod On
Never listed as a seminal Culture LP even though it contains many of their best 70s tracks.
As for artists whose LPs remain hard to find or deserve re-issuing:
Flick Wilson
Viceroys
HT Spliff
Mystic Eyes
Black Slate
Reggae George
Delton Screechie
Samuel Mickle
and that's just off the top of my head.

Why is 'rasta no pickpocket' overlooked so much?
When people talk about junior byles they never mention the album.They allways talk about his early works or his works with Lee Perry.Do you think maybe it's because it was recorded in the 80s (i think) when junior was suffering with illness that maybe it got overlooked.Or maybe because it's hard to get. I don't knoe but it's a shame. I think it's absolutly beutiful.It's a work of art.
