Enter The Dub: It sounds like Tubby's, but probably Prince Jammy at the controls. King Tubby himself didn't mix much in the late 70s
What about that sound that you hear on a lot of records, like in the beginning of the dub to "Pay Them" by The Enforcer?

I love that tubby beep sound.
the other day,I mixed some tubby beeps over a
Jah mason( stingray 7" )track. it sounded well crucial.

channel one had that deep effect that goes up & down i cant even imagine what it could be as instrument, sly and robbie have some kind off effeect too that "wooow" they use on "guess whos coming.." it sound like it nu come from earth lol

so where were jammys at those times?
in here in the archives thers a record mentioned "two big bull in a one pen" if you read the credits it dont say nuttn bout king tubby nor jammy, but a whole heap a names still.

bout sleng teng, i dont know exactly but i thought fat teng & know fi chat were the first versions on firehouse then king jammys voiced the whole riddim, then i hear it was wayne smith who voiced it first at jammys but i must say fat teng sounds different from mixing and all, could some one share some information bout dat
