What I call "Jamaican revival" is the 70s and early 80s reggae, not the so called "nu-roots"...
So if the 70s reggae is for you as boring as ragga and dancehall, that is the point from where we already disagree.
Everybody his own taste of course, and Im not a specialist of the "new reggae" at all. But my non interest in the new productions is mostly due to that polished clean sound, far from the "ruff" sound of the 70s. I find it cold and empty and without the magic warm energy that is a pillow of reggae, for me. So the fact that is sound a bit different than the french sound doesnt change much my pleasure, it suffers, from my point of view, from the same thing as the french sound.
I guess we just have very different references to what we *mostly* enjoy. Thus said, I dont have anything against these guys and I know only little about them.

Getting back to the topic... I think FC Apatride are excellent and very unique. I only have their album "Them" but would love to hear more.
