"The cow is a mammal - it is a chewing cud animal"
Prince Far I - Daughters of Zion
It's very true - but the way that he just throws that out there in the middle of the song made me double-take when I first heard it.

Came across this thread while looking for the lyrics to Jogging - Freddie McGregor, 3 years late but nerver mind the lyric comes from Hard Times - Pablo Gad
My all time favourite lyric has to be
Born a Winner - Freddie McGregor
My lonely days and my lonely nights girl
On the outside looking in, dreaming of holding you tight
Wel, I guess I've had my day, you let me go my way
Is me who has to pay, a loser they call me but now I'm a winner
yes I am yes I am

I don't think it is, cos that goes, "When me was a youth me used to bun collie weed in tha rizla. me used to bun it in a rizla......"
plus the voice is different. I'm still searching for this tune.

I got a good laugh last night listening to Glen Brown's Seargent Crackers. The song tells of the ups and downs of Seargent Crackers and his companions Cheese and Butter. It's completely and wonderfully mad!
The Prince Far I reference earlier reminds me of his song, called Virgin. In it, he booms out the words "Branson is a pickle that's not welcome at my table" (or words to that effect - haven't heard the song in ages). The song is a response to Prince Far I being dropped by the Virgin/Frontline label.
