alton ellis - people keep quarrelling
new establishment - the people skanking
alton ellis - live & learn (extended)
it's strange but even if he's a living legend, I think he's one of the most underrated.

its my first bullwackies purchase, got it last night.
not bad, i think its gonna take a little time to get use to bullwackies recording style though, it is so different from the JA guys

Hi Greg,
Dont let the unique Wackies sound put you off. I thought exactly the same when I made my first couple of Wackies purchases.
It is completely different to the JA sound but it will definately grow on you the more you play them.
Try getting
Horace Andy - Dancehall Style
Wayne Jarrett - Showcase
Junior Delahaye - Showcase
Jezzreel - Great Jah Jah Showcase
Sugar Minott - Wicked A Go Feel It
Various Artists - Reggae Goodies Vol 1 & 2
These were the first 6 that I purchased several years ago and I still really enjoy playing them.
The Wackies Dub albums are also very good, but I would recommend those vocal sets first.
