Clocktower release are oke when Brad Osbourn was the owner of Clocktower label and recordshop.
All the orginal release sound better etc.
I am lucky to have alot of the orginal albums.
I have one or two abraham release and they sound crap it's a shame.
Even Linval Thompson tell me last saturday that
Abraham are bootlegs he never get a penny.

Hi Sean

I have the vinyl version of 'King Tubby & Scientist & Bunny Tom Tom - King Tubby Studio verses Channel One Studio' and think it is an excellent album - http://www.roots-archives.com/release/2615

Maybe it's been transferred onto CD badly.

Actually, the only bad dub album (in my view) I have is Sugar Minott's Ghetto-ology + Dub - http://www.roots-archives.com/release/367.

It's on CD and although the original vocal album is fine the dub cut is obviously (and badly) recorded from the original vinyl.

Update to this post;

@ 6anbatte,

there's a bootleg floating ( try dc++ ) on the internet from Augustus live at the Astoria Theatre ( 17-12-1989 with Junior Delgado )

It's a low quality tape deck recording, but perhaps interesting for you.

the mad prof aint normally associated with fake albums...perrys name is more easily associated with fakes.no fault of perry himself i am sure.

I think those "whiny" intros are by Bunny Lee himself. Same style as Master of Ceremony Dub.
